LAHORE: The global mining and mineral exploration industry is preparing to gather in Toronto for PDAC 2027, scheduled for March 7–10, 2027, as demand for critical minerals and investment opportunities continues to shape the sector.
According to the official website of the Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC), the annual convention will bring together more than 32,000 attendees from over 140 countries. The event is expected to feature more than 1,300 exhibitors and 800 presenters.
The convention will take place at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre and the Fairmont Royal York Hotel, offering educational programmes, business networking, exhibitions and opportunities for industry participants to connect with investors and decision-makers.
The event provides a platform for professionals involved in mineral exploration, mining development, finance and related industries to exchange knowledge and explore business opportunities.
Critical minerals, including copper, lithium, nickel and other materials used in energy systems, transportation and modern technologies, have become increasingly important to economic development and industrial supply chains.
PDAC’s exhibition programme includes opportunities for mining companies, exploration businesses, financial institutions and other organizations to showcase projects, connect with investors and develop commercial relationships.
Media Accreditation for International Journalists
PDAC has announced that applications for media accreditation for the 2027 convention will open in November 2026.
According to its official media accreditation information, qualified journalists whose work meets the event’s editorial and industry-related eligibility criteria may receive a complimentary Media Pass. Applicants are expected to demonstrate their professional media affiliation and intended coverage of the convention.
The accreditation process is intended for editorial journalists covering mineral exploration, mining, capital markets or the PDAC Convention. Applicants should consult the official requirements before submitting their applications.
As preparations continue, PDAC 2027 is expected to provide an international platform for discussions on mineral exploration, investment, industry developments and the future of mining.
