LAHORE: Pakistan Peoples Party central leader and former Federal Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira has strongly condemned the kidnapping of former MPA Ammar Siddique Khan from Taxila and said on saturedat that Ammar Siddique Khan was kidnapped by some accused who were later rescued.
He said that despite the FIR, the non-arrest of the accused in the kidnapping of Ammar Siddique is worrying. Despite the passage of so much time, the non-arrest of the accused is a question mark on the performance of the law enforcement agencies.
The former federal minister said that Ammar Siddique Khan belongs to a political family and his kidnapping is very unfortunate. It is very worrying that now politicians are also facing this act.
He stressed that we strongly condemn the kidnapping and harassment of political people. Qamar Zaman Kaira demanded that a fair, transparent and impartial investigation of this case be ensured and the accused should be brought to justice and the government should immediately arrest the accused. Arrest him and punish him accordingly.
