LAHORE: Gold prices rose in Pakistan on Friday, with 24-karat gold gaining Rs4,700 per tola to reach Rs453,036, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs4,029 to Rs388,404, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold rose by Rs3,694 to Rs356,050.
International gold prices climbed by $47 to $4,305 per ounce.
Silver also recorded gains. The per-tola price increased by Rs126 to Rs6,963, and 10 grams rose by Rs108 to Rs5,969. International silver prices advanced by $1.26 to $64.85 per ounce.
