ISLAMABAD:The closure of the M-1 Motorway ahead of a planned PTI protest has been challenged in the Islamabad High Court (IHC).
Supreme Court lawyer Mian Shafqat Jan filed a petition after roadblocks stopped him from reaching the Peshawar High Court (PHC) for a hearing on Thursday. His case was scheduled for September 24.
He asked the court to keep roads open for lawyers, people attending court, witnesses, patients, funeral processions and emergency services.
