LAHORE: The 30th IHF Men’s World Championship in Germany is expected to provide a major opportunity for international sports media to cover one of the world’s leading handball competitions.
The tournament will be held from January 13 to 31, 2027, across Munich, Stuttgart, Kiel, Magdeburg, Hanover and Cologne. The International Handball Federation has opened accreditation for professional journalists, photographers, online media representatives and non-rights-holding radio and television media.
International media representatives will have the opportunity to follow preliminary-round, main-round and final-stage matches subject to their approved accreditation and designated access areas.
The championship will culminate in Cologne on January 31, when the medal matches will determine the next world champion.
With 32 national teams competing across six German cities, the tournament is expected to generate extensive international sports coverage.
