18-HAZARI: Punjab Secretary for Health and Population Nadia Saqib paid a visit to the Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital 18-Hazari last night and reviewed the healthcare facilities being provided to patients.
During her visit, the Health Secretary inspected various departments of the hospital and reviewed the availability of medicines, cleanliness arrangements, medical facilities and services being provided to patients.
Nadia Saqib also interacted with patients and their attendants to obtain direct feedback regarding the quality of healthcare services and the provision of free medicines at the hospital.
She directed the hospital administration to accelerate the implementation of the paperless system and the transition to the Hospital Management Information System (HMIS).
She also stressed the importance of ensuring timely availability and proper maintenance of hospital records. The Health Secretary further directed the hospital administration to ensure the timely provision of quality medical facilities to the public and improve the overall standard of healthcare services at the facility.
