LAHORE: The good governance of the Punjab government has come before everyone, slogans of clean Punjab were raised in Punjab, we have only seen Punjab sinking. They do not care about the flood victims, they expressed these views while talking to the media with a delegation of the PPP Lahore and Sheikhupura district during a visit to the flooded Pathan Colony and other affected areas on the outskirts of Lahore yesterday.
The PPP leader also visited the homes of two children who drowned in Pathan Colony and offered condolences and Fateha to their families. On this occasion, PPP Sheikhupura President Asif Khan, General Secretary Imran Sabir Dogar, Mian Armaghan Khalid, Rao Babar Jamil, Malik Imran Khokhar, Zeeshan Shami, Tanveer Jatt, Naseer Ahmed, Rana Iftikhar, Naseem Sabir Chaudhry, Mudassar Shakir and a large number of party workers were present.
Hassan Murtaza, while talking to the media, said that thousands of acres of agricultural land have been submerged in water. When the underpasses of Lahore are shown to be filled with water, they say that the PPP has developed PML-N phobia, while today thousands of acres of land have been submerged in flood water and human lives are being lost and the government claims that everything is good, everything is good.
He sarcastically said that this is not Rajanpur, Rahimyar Khan or DG Khan, it is Lahore, this is Lahore. What destruction must they have experienced when the dam broke in Liaquatpur? What will be the situation of the destruction caused by the flood in Mianwali? What will be the situation of the destruction caused by the drain dike?
He emphasized that if the drains had been cleaned on time and properly, this situation would not have happened, but the incompetence is that they have done what they see. Hassan Murtaza demanded that the government immediately compensate the victims for the loss of life and property due to the flood.
