LAHORE: In a significant achievement for Pakistani journalism, Rana Muhammad Azeem, President of the Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ), has been elected as a member of the Executive Council of the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ).

The election took place during the IFJ’s global proceedings held recently, where media representatives from across the world cast their votes. Rana Azeem was elected to the Executive Council for a three-year term, representing the Asia-Pacific region.
