LAHORE: Pakistan Peoples Party Central Punjab Information Secretary Shahzad Saeed Cheema has said that the work that a social media worker can do cannot be done by a 9-month field work.
Every member should stay away from all kinds of prejudices for a month and retweet each other. He was addressing the Mastering Twitter Workshop organized by the Peoples Information Bureau Central Punjab at the Peoples Secretariat Model Town under the chairmanship of Secretary Information Shahzad Saeed Cheema, which was organized by Coordinator to Raja Pervez Ashraf, Bushri Manzoor Maneka.
In the workshop, Master Trainer Ahmed Rehman Ghuman briefed the participants on Twitter usage, increasing reach and increasing viewership. Malik Ali Saul, Khurram Farooq, Dr. Zarar Yousaf, Chavez Nadeem, Iqra Omar Advocate, Farhat Yasmin, Syed Tahir Jafri, Humaira Latif, Shiraz Baloch, Hina Khalil, Dilip Chohan, Atif Khokhar, Wajih Qureshi, Taiba Batool, Abbas Shah, Basharat Ali, Ijaz Bhatti, Ehsan Junaid participated in the workshop.
Mian Armaghan, Akbar Bugti, Arshad Dhandla, Athar Sharif, Dr. Akhtar, Javed Hashmi, Maqbool King, Sanwal Sain, Raja Furqan, Chaudhry Ajmal, Talal Zulfi, Lubni Chaudhry, Malik Sohaib Mushtaq Awan, Shaista Aslam, Saud Saeed Iqbal, Shiraz Baloch participated on Zoom.
Addressing the workshop, the Information Secretary of PP Central Punjab said that such sessions increase motivation, ability and communication. He said that commitment along with being educated is very important to use Twitter.
Workshop Addressing the gathering, Master Trainer Ahmed Rehman Ghuman said that not political pages but pages with user names are monetized on Facebook. Our information secretaries should register their meta accounts. Posting more than one video of the same program on party pages reduces reach to zero.
He told the party’s social media activists that controlled posting is very important and they should get into the habit of retweeting. He said that the first 30 seconds decide the reach of the tweet, so the intro should be lively. You play with words on the space and bring out the public’s point of view on social issues.
Shaista Aslam said that they should get into the habit of writing comprehensively and lively on Twitter. Even if there is only one video, everyone should get into the habit of writing on it in their own style. He further said that they should not hesitate to respond to political opponents.
