Shorkot: A Revenue Awami Khidmat Katcheri (Public Revenue Service Camp) was held under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner Zafar Ahmed. Tehsildar Imran Akram and other staff members of the Revenue Department were also present at the event.
Speaking on the occasion, Assistant Commissioner Zafar Ahmed said that, on the directions of the Chief Minister, an open court is held on the 1st and 2nd of every month to address public grievances related to land and revenue matters.
He stated that all land-related complaints are heard under one roof. The most frequently reported complaints concern the unavailability of patwaris. Other issues include inheritance matters, issuance of Fard (land ownership records), partition of land, and cases related to Reports 32–34.
He further explained that all complaints are formally recorded in a register and followed up to ensure their resolution.
Efforts are being made to resolve minor complaints on the spot. The presence of relevant departmental staff under one roof is helping ensure the prompt resolution of public grievances and providing relief to citizens.
