LAHORE: Punjab Assembly Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan stated that while the Modi administration continues to harbor ambitions of Akhand Bharat , the Pakistani leadership and its people have consistently defended their national sovereignty at every turn.

He criticized India for consistently building its politics around narratives of racial and regional supremacy, calling recent statements by the Indian Army Chief regarding “wiping Pakistan off the map” deeply regrettable.
He made these remarks while addressing a Youm-e-Takbeer seminar organized at the Allama Iqbal Medical College in Lahore.
Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan emphasized that Youm-e-Takbeer stands as a symbol of Pakistan’s sovereignty, defense capabilities, and national pride. He asserted that if Pakistan had not achieved nuclear capability, India would have continuously attempted to establish its hegemony over South Asia.

“I am a staunch opponent of war. However, if aggression is imposed upon us, the nation is bound to give a crushing response,” the Speaker declared.
Other prominent speakers also addressed the seminar, highlighting the historical significance of Pakistan’s nuclear tests:
Professor Dr. Tayyaba Waseem expressed gratitude for the homeland, noting that whenever the question of Pakistan’s security arises, the Armed Forces of Pakistan have always proven to be the frontline vanguard in defending the motherland.
Former Health Minister Dr. Saeed Elahi remarked that the journey culminating on May 28 (Youm-e-Takbeer) made Pakistan invincible, ensuring that the country stands today with dignity and honor on the global stage.
