Uzbek Ambassador Meets with Former PM Nawaz Sharif in Lahore

LAHORE: The Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Pakistan Alisher Tukhtaev met with Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif to discuss matters of mutual interest and bilateral cooperation.

During the meeting, both leaders held detailed discussions aimed at strengthening the diplomatic, economic, and cultural relations between Pakistan and Uzbekistan.

Ambassador Alisher Tukhtaev reciprocated the sentiments, reaffirming that Uzbekistan highly values its friendly ties with Pakistan. He expressed his country’s strong desire to expand mutual cooperation across various sectors, including trade, regional connectivity, and people-to-people exchanges.
