Lahore: The Government of Punjab has issued new kite flying rules and regulations for Basant 2027. The deadline for implementation is set for December 30, 2026.

All rules and regulations have been sent to the CPPO Lahore, DIG Operations Lahore, as well as Deputy Commissioners, DPOs, CPOs, and CTAs across Punjab.

Complete bans have been imposed on running, jumping, adopting dangerous stunts, and gathering more people than the capacity on rooftops.

Kite flying will be limited to safe and strong rooftops, where a minimum wall height of three and a half feet is mandatory.

Activities that cause noise, disturbance, DJ systems, and trouble for neighbors during kite flying are now considered criminal offenses.

In case of violations, building owners and event organizers will be held responsible. The story share in whatsApp group.
