PTI Punjab Condemns Fuel Price Hike: Mushtaq Ahmed

Government’s Poor Policies Lead to Record Inflation and Unemployment, Says Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Punjab Spokesperson

LAHORE: In response to recent increases in petroleum prices, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Punjab has strongly condemned the government’s decision. Party spokesperson and PTI Punjab focal person, Mushtaq Ahmad, expressed on saturday his deep concern over the situation, calling the price hike a form of injustice inflicted upon the common people.

Opposition Leader Warns Government’s Economic Policies Are Causing Nationwide Damage
Mushtaq Ahmad criticized the current government for its lack of economic policies, accusing it of only focusing on raising fuel prices while neglecting the broader economic challenges facing the country. He emphasized that this approach is pushing the nation into a cycle of inflation and unemployment, making life harder for everyday citizens.

He also pointed out that due to poor governance, poverty levels have shattered previous records, and the nation has become increasingly dependent on international loans, with the government seemingly surrendering the country’s financial sovereignty to the IMF.

The PTI leader warned that those claiming to improve the economy have instead caused further damage, and that the government’s priorities appear to be driven solely by personal interests rather than national welfare.

He voiced his belief that this government’s time is running out, describing it as an economic disaster that has severely impacted the lives of ordinary Pakistanis.

This statement reflects the growing frustration among opposition parties and citizens alike, who see the rising fuel prices as part of a larger pattern of economic mismanagement that is severely affecting the country’s stability and future.
