LAHORE:The historic Shah Alam Market echoed with slogans of “Pak Fauj Zindabad” (Long Live the Pakistan Army) on Saturday, as the city’s trader community organized a massive “Marka-e-Haq” rally to mark the first anniversary of the national milestone.

The rally, organized by the Anjuman-e-Tajiran, commenced from the New Alamgir Market and culminated at the Main Shah Alam Chowk. Participants, including prominent business leaders and shopkeepers, were showered with flower petals at various points along the route as they marched to express solidarity with the country’s military leadership.
Traders Affirm Commitment to Stand Shoulder to Shoulder with Pakistan Army
During the demonstration, the business community paid glowing tributes to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for their role in steering the country toward stability.

Addressing the crowd, Mujahid Maqsood Butt, President of the Anjuman-e-Tajiran, described the “Maarka-e-Haq” as a “golden chapter” in Pakistan’s history.
“Due to the wise and sagacious leadership of the Field Marshal, Pakistan’s head is held high with pride in the global community,” Butt stated. “It is because of the success of Maarka-e-Haq that the Green Passport is once again being respected across the world today.”
