RAHIM YAR KHAN : In a significant development following the ongoing Kacha operation, two active members of the notorious Machhi gang surrendered to the police at the Nawazabad Police Station, vowing to abandon the world of crime.
The surrender is being seen as a direct result of the intensified pressure from the operation led by District Police Officer (DPO) Rizwan Ali Samoo. Authorities believe that the strategic crackdown has left criminals with no choice but to surrender for their own survival.

The two individuals, identified as Muhammad Hussain and Ishtiaq Machhi, approached SHO Nawazabad Inspector Shahid Riaz. Both men were previously recorded criminals with a history of involvement in gang activities.

Inspector Shahid Riaz stated that the police would strictly monitor the conduct of the surrendered individuals to ensure they do not violate their oath or return to criminal activities.
“They will have to face the law for the cases registered against them,” the SHO remarked. “Our teams will keep a close watch on their transition into civilian life to ensure the safety of the community.”
The Kacha operation continues to squeeze the hideouts of various gangs, with police officials maintaining that more surrenders are expected as the net tightens around criminal elements in the riverine belt.
