LAHORE: Member of the Provincial Assembly MPA and Focal Person for Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf (PTI) Punjab Mushtaq Ahmed said on thursday and described “Marka-e-Haq” (the Battle of Truth) as a golden chapter in the nation’s history.
In a statement issued on the first anniversary of the historic military standoff, Mushtaq Ahmed lauded the joint efforts of the Armed Forces and the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) for thwarting the “nefarious designs” of the enemy and making national security “impenetrable.”
The PTI leader emphasized that while political differences exist, there is a total consensus on matters of national security.
“Our political differences with the current government stand apart, but there will be no compromise on national security. We stand shoulder-to-shoulder with our Armed Forces for the defense of the motherland,” Mushtaq Ahmed stated.
Reflecting on the events of May 2025, the MPA noted that the response given to the Modi government by the brave personnel of the Pakistan Air Force was an unforgettable lesson. He warned that “the enemy should not harbor any misconceptions,” as the entire nation remains united and ready for any sacrifice to protect Pakistan’s sovereignty.

- Call for Internal Dialogue: Mushtaq Ahmed stressed that for a truly strong Pakistan, internal political disputes must be resolved through dialogue.
