Lahore Traders Celebrate One-Year Anniversary of Marka-e-Haq

Mujahid Maqsood Butt announced that a Grand Rally will be held on Saturday at 3:00 PM, starting from Shah Alam Market.

LAHORE: The business community of Lahore joined the national celebrations on thursday to mark the first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq (Operation Bunyaan-un-Marsoos), paying a resounding tribute to the courage and professionalism of the Pakistan Armed Forces.

In a vibrant show of patriotism, the Anjuman-e-Tajiran (Traders Association) of Shah Alam Market and New Alamgir Market decorated their shops and commercial centers with national flags. The historic marketplace was transformed into a sea of green and white as traders held flags and chanted slogans of “Pak Fauj Zindabad” (Long Live the Pakistan Army).

Tributes to Pakistan’s forces from the Business Community

Media Secretary of the Anjuman-e-Tajiran Hafiz Sheikh Alauddin expressed his profound gratitude to the military personnel who defended the nation during the 2025 conflict.

“Today, we stand united as a ‘Bunyaan-un-Marsoos’ (Solid Wall). This victory belongs to every Pakistani, and our forces have proven that they are the ultimate guardians of our sovereignty. Pakistan Zindabad!” he declared.

President of the Anjuman-e-Tajiran Lahore Mujahid Maqsood Butt also lauded the Armed Forces in glowing terms. He remarked that the success achieved during the “Battle of Truth” was a result of Allah’s divine help and the unwavering bravery of the soldiers.

Thousands of traders, laborers, and local citizens are expected to participate in Grand Anniversary Rally

To commemorate the milestone, the merchant community has organized a series of events:

  • Commemorative Decorations: Business centers across Shah Alam Market are adorned with large banners and flags.
  • Grand Rally: Mujahid Maqsood Butt announced that a “Shandaar Rally” (Grand Rally) will be held on Saturday at 3:00 PM, starting from Shah Alam Market.
  • Mass Participation: Thousands of traders, laborers, and local citizens are expected to participate to reaffirm their support for the defenders of the country.

The celebration by the traders highlights the deep-rooted civil-military bond and the national pride stemming from the strategic successes of the previous year’s operations.
