ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari expressed deep sorrow and grief over the recent attack in Charsadda that resulted in the martyrdom of Maulana Muhammad Adrees Tarangzai.
In a statement, the President extended heartfelt condolences to the family of the slain cleric and prayed for the elevation of his ranks in the hereafter. He also prayed for the swift recovery of the injured police personnel involved in the incident.

President Zardari emphasized that such cowardly terrorist acts cannot dampen the spirits of the nation. He reaffirmed that the country’s resolve to eradicate terrorism remains strong and unwavering. “Our collective determination to eliminate terrorism from our beloved homeland is firm and resolute,” he stated.
The President further assured that the ongoing operations against terrorist elements will continue without discrimination, and efforts will be intensified to make the country a sanctuary of peace and stability.
