LAHORE :The provincial capital experienced a pleasant shift in weather on Wednesday as heavy rain and hailstorms lashed various parts of the city, bringing much-needed relief from the heat.
The downpour was widespread, covering major residential and commercial hubs. Significant rainfall and hailstorms were reported in:
- Central Areas: Lakshmi Chowk, Garhi Shahu, Davis Road, and Shimla Pahari.
- Major Arteries: Mall Road, Jail Road, Canal Road, and Lower Mall.
- Key Localities: Gulberg, Allama Iqbal Town, Muslim Town, Wahdat Road, and Baghbanpura.

Heavy showers continued around Istanbul Chowk and the GPO, while cool winds significantly lowered the city’s temperature, making the atmosphere enjoyable for citizens.According to the latest data, Gulshan-e-Ravi recorded the highest intensity of rain.
